MYSTORY
Overcoming something means to defeat it and walk in victory over it. In today's culture one of the major obstacles we face is fear and anxiety. For myself anxiety hit like a freight train. One day I was perfectly healthy the next I was emotionally paralyzed and stuck in my house unable to leave without having a panic attack or feeling extremely sick. I tried and tried everything I could to get rid of it. 5 years I dealt with this devastating sickness. I prayed and prayed asking God to take this horrible thing away from my life. I thought I was doing everything in the book just so I could feel normal again. I had no clue what God was working on in my life. I just had to fully trust Him, it was hard. In 2017 I boarded a plane and traveled to Israel. This was a huge step out of my comfort zone. As I boarded the plane I trusted in Him to take care of me on this trip across the planet. Little did I know this was His plan for me all along. He took my biggest struggle away and I overcame my anxiety. A Few days into the trip I decided to renew my life back to the Lord by getting baptized in the Sea of Galilee. I have never been more closer to my Father than today. Because I had put all my trust in Him, He healed me of something I never thought could be healed. I continue to this day working on my relationship with my Father and my anxiety. My hope is that we all share the same story of overcoming as we walk in the light!
BEHIND OVERCOME
"Wear Your Hope"
Life for many of us often is full of obstacles. Many times we are faced with obstacles in our relationships, our identity, our health and a bunch of other issues. I’ve learned over these years that either I can overcome my obstacles or my obstacles can overcome me. These challenges and obstacles can cast a dark shadow over our lives and leave us feeling hopeless, helpless and alone. We were never expected to overcome these obstacle alone. Overcoming happens through the Fathers love and the power He provides in us. When we trust Him, we begin to experience His light breaking into our darkness.
I know that some of you are reading this and are facing what seems to be impossible difficulties. No matter how big or small your problems, I hope that my story has encouraged you to Trust in God and overcome your obstacles.
My desire is that as you wear any of our apparel items you will “Wear Your Hope”. As you wear any Overcome item I hope you will be reminded of your source of power to overcome and that you will be a light to others!
